Mrs Robinson's working commitments precluded her taking part today. Rev Trev and Vet Geoff had a early morning trip to Chard to assess the feasibility of cycling at this time prior to the main ride. Digger Dave joined in on their return and they cycled off to Glastonbury via Somerton and Butleigh. Lunch was taken in the centre of Glastonbury whilst we sat out some heavy rain. After lunch the trip took us to Baltonsborough, Lovington, Sparkford, Queen Camel and eventually Yeovil. After a visit to the cycle shop "TRI-UK", who are one of our supporters and called "The Sweetie Shop" by the Hasbeans, we dropped off Rev Trev and returned to Martock. We now have a caravan that Digger Dave is up-grading in readiness for our LEJOG trip. Mike Crouch has now officially been inducted into the Hasbeans (the poor fool). He will be the support driver who will set up the caravan at each camp-site along the way. The attached photo of a leg clearly shows the effect all these miles are having on us. The quiz for all our readers is whose leg is it? Decorum precludes us from showing photos of the effects that the cycling is having on other parts of our bodies!
Miles today = 75.5. Including one puncture which must be equivalent to 5 miles in terms of frustration.
