The Hasbeans met up at Digger Daves home now that he has returned from Hospital. Dave is progressing well with limbs returning to normal. We are sure it will not be too long before he is back in the saddle. Todays trip took us down to the Marshwood Vale via Crewkerne. The view of the Vale from the car park beneath Pilsdon Hill is Geoff's favourite and he believes is the best in the country. Caution was needed whilst cycling down the muddy lanes into the Vale but it was worth it as lunch was taken at the delightful Shave Cross Inn, see photo.
The cycling included several climbs and we are gradually getting some hard miles into our legs.
